If you bought the GroupOn you simply need to bring it in to your first class (no need to register prior t0). The class schedule for the CrossFit Kids classes can be seen here "times".

The GroupOn is not for any classes other than the CrossFit Kids class and for ages 6-12. You do not need to reserve classes online but will simply fill out information on your first class and check marks at each class there after for your month voucher.

Welcome March and an Action Packed Weekend!

Week 2 of the Crossfit Open is upon us (12.2).  Last week we did a version of the first week's workout (12.1).  Last weeks workout was a 7 Minute AMRAP of Burpees!  This week is a 10 Minute AMRAP of Snatches.  30 reps are to be completed at increasing weights until either the athlete runs out of time(10 mins) or  fails multiple times.  All 30 reps must be completed at one weight before the athlete may move on to a heavier weight.
CrossFit Kids action
Also this weekend is the Arnold Classic. The event runs from Thursday, March 1 through Sunday, March 4.  On Sunday is a Crossfit Kids competition from 10am until approximately 4pm.  Saturday will feature several of our adult athletes competing throughout the day.  The event will be held at the Convention Center in downtown Columbus.  We have a couple teenage athletes from our gym that will be competing.  It would be awesome for you to come check out the action.  Our kids will get a chance to see crossfit from a more competitive aspect and the support would mean so much to our teens who are competing.  They also will get a chance to meet some of the stars of the sport of Crossfit who compete for the tiltle of "Fittest on Earth"!

*Rx'd for this workout is using a barbell, however a starting weight should be used that will allow the athlete to complete the first 30 reps without failure and with good technique.  Dumbells or a PVC pipe can be used.  The second and third sets of 30 will also be modified to work best for each athlete.  I.e. a 2 1/2# plate could be added to the 11# barbell for round 2 if 22# is too big of a jump.
